Experiment Phase 2

Come to find out, it is against the rules to smoke or take part in any sexual activity. Good thing I was not planning on either! It was also understood that there was to be no intentional cursing or evil thoughts. So it was not only based on the physical actions, but morals too. Who knew fasting wasn't limited to just giving up food and drinks?

I soon learned that the sick, the very old, the young children under the age of 12, the pregnant, the breast-feeding, the menstruating, and the traveling were temporarily omitted to any kind of fasting until it was made up at a later date or a donation was made to the poor. It made good enough sense to me.

And so it began...with the sighting of the new moon.
